ETF is seeking to understand how professionals and organisations across the Further Education (FE) and skills sector support learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), develop inclusive teaching, and prepare for proposed SEND reforms.
Who should complete this survey?
The survey is intended for professionals working across FE and skills, including teachers and trainers, SEND specialists, support staff, leaders, teacher educators and quality professionals. Respondents outside England are welcome to participate.
How will your responses be used?
Your responses will help ETF identify workforce development needs, understand the distinctive challenges facing the sector, and inform future support, research and national discussions. Findings may also be used in public communications, future programmes and funding proposals.
Please answer from your own experience. Questions about your organisation ask for your personal assessment and do not require an official organisational response.
Anonymity and confidentiality
The survey is anonymous and does not ask for your name or email address. Responses will be analysed to identify key themes, challenges and priorities. Findings will generally be reported in aggregate, and any quotations used will be anonymised. You will be asked separately for permission before any quotation from your written responses is used.
Please do not include information that could identify individual learners or colleagues in your written answers.
Data protection
Survey data will be stored securely on SmartSurvey and handled in accordance with ETF’s privacy notice and data retention requirements.
How long will it take?
The survey is expected to take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
